Cythera Blue Broken Stripe Caftan

The Cythera Caftan is a classic ILIO NEMA silhouette featuring this season's Broken Stripe. Our Broken Stripe takes four days to weave on a hand-loom by local weavers in India making this piece simultaneously unique and striking. It features an intricate broken stripe design; small blocks of colour of varying lengths within one stripe. To create this the weaver has to stop and change colours every time the colour changes within the one stripe which is extremely time consuming.
